WSOP Circuit Returns to the Rio; First-Ever Online Ring Event Planned

The World Series of Poker Circuit returned to the Rio All-Suite Hotel and Casino this past weekend with events starting on February 16th and running until February 27th. Players will be able to take part in various events with the circuit stop ending with the very first ever online ring tournament.

The WSOPC began on Friday with Event #1, a $250,000 guaranteed tournament with a $365 buy-in and six starting flights. Event #2 kicks off today with a $365 No Limit Hold’em tournament followed by Event #3, the No Limit Hold’em 6-handed tournament.

By next weekend, players will be able to participate in the Main Event, a tournament featuring a $1,675 buy-in and a $1 million guarantee. Additional events on the schedule include such formats as pot limit Omaha, HORSE, high roller and Monster Stack.

The series will end with the online ring event, set to take place on February 27th. This event will have a buy-in of $365 and take place online at the WSOP NV poker site. Players must be located in Nevada to take part, so those in attendance at the Rio will easily be able to log in and compete.

The tournament will take place at 6:30 pm and will mark the first time a WSOPC ring has been up for grabs online in Nevada. Players can compete now to earn a spot in the event by taking part in daily satellites for as little as $5.

Players in Nevada can also take advantage of a special bonus code from now until February 25th. Make a deposit with bonus code 365RING and earn a freeroll ticket to the $365 WSOP Online Ring Event. WSOP NV will offer a Rio Online Circuit Ring Event Satellite on February 24th and 26th with the winner earning a seat to the big online event.
