World Poker Tour Hires Help to Develop Player Base

WPT Enterprises Inc, the creator of the World Poker Tour has announced the hiring of new help to promote their player base and marketing. The two men hired are experienced and believed to be an asset to the company.

Andy Goetsch will be the Executive Vice President of Online Gaming. He is the former Vice-President of Poker Software Development for Cryptologic. Goetsch has over 21 years experience in several areas that WPT were looking for. He has experience in gaming knowledge because he is a poker player himself and also knowledge in finance and mergers and strategic planning. He was also the overseer to the launch of the WorldPokerTour.com when he was with Cryptologic.

Goetsch’s job with WPT will be to focus the power of its brand to help develop a larger player base and World Poker Tour revenue. The focus on the WPT website will be on how to gain players and keep them.

The other new employee is Rohin Malhotra. He will be the Managing Director of International Sales and Marketing.  He has worked with television networks and has knowledge of production and distribution.

Malhotra was an Executive Advisor for Fox Sports and was brought on to build WPT’s content through Television and multimedia.
