US Customers Not Receiving Payments From Full Tilt Poker

Full Tilt PokerFull Tilt Poker, the second largest online poker room in the world, has long been known for it’s continuous acceptance of US players. It would seem, accepted or not, many US players have decided to leave Full Tilt behind, at least for a little while, as they have not received any withdrawals requested since the middle of April 2008.

It came to the attention of 4Flush.com as a continuous flow of forum posts are appearing on the popular online poker forum, 2+2 and other prominent online poker forums.. It is not clear why so many US players have not received any requested withdrawals for the past few weeks, but the dates do coincide with the recent exclusion of ePassporte for US customers at Full Tilt Poker.

On April 19, 2008, 4Flush released a story entitles “ePassporte No Longer an option for Online Poker Transfers in US”. In short, ePassporte, once considered the best payment option for online poker players in the US, made the fateful decision to stop processing such payments.

The first reports of delinquent payments from Full Tilt Poker came from players who claim they haven’t received a requested withdrawal since ‘about April 10th’. Coincidently, it was April 11th that ePassporte officially cut off its services to US gamblers. That’s a little too close for comfort, in this writer’s opinion.

However, it is not ePassporte clients that are having issues with withdrawing funds from Full Tilt Poker. Most of the complaints have risen from those who requested a withdrawal by Check or Bank Transfer. And not everyone is experiencing a problem at all. One member of Full Tilt Poker happily stated that a withdrawal via Click2Pay was delivered instantly, just two days ago.

Before anyone jumps to any conclusions, it could be anything from a simple glitch in the system, to a significantly slower processing time due to excessive traffic – everyone is trying to win a seat in the 2008 WSOP Main Event, and Full Tilt Poker is one of the many online poker rooms offering the chance to do so.

4Flush.com is working to obtain statements from Full Tilt Poker in hopes of shedding more light on the subject. Stay tuned for more details as we get them…..
