Online poker players in the state of Nevada will be pleased to hear that the software of Ultimate Poker has been given an upgrade with significant changes including geolocation services. The Nevada version of Ultimate Poker will now have improved geo-location features as well as additional features to the poker client.
Just a few days ago, Terrance Chandler, a Site Rep for Ultimate Poker, took to the TwoPlusTwo forums to respond to a player who stated that new features had been noticed. Chan then proceeded to give a breakdown of the changes to the software.
Many changes were made to the software of the Nevada version but the most important remains the geolocation features. With new geolocation services, player location will be more accurate. When logging in, players will see a banner that says ‘location not verified’ and the online poker room says to ignore this banner and try to sit at a table. If this does not work, players should contact customer support for further assistance.
The changes at Ultimate Poker were already made in New Jersey and Nevada was given the changes later on due to the regulatory process of testing the software in each state. The approval process is different for each state and New Jersey was quicker to have the option available for upgrade.
Nevada also has made changes for wait lists of individual tables. When a seat is made available at a selected table, players will then have 2 minutes to accept the seat and be seated. The poker client must now focus on repairing bugs as well as improving stability. According to Chan the following changes should be added to the site:

Notes
Showing rebuys in the lobby
Deal speed
Turn off animations/avatars
Hand history replayer
