A professional poker player from Fairfield, California has been arrested and charged with running a sex trafficking ring that involved underage girls. According to reports, poker pro Aaron James Vaughn, 23, was put in jail after he was charged with multiple counts of recruiting, coercing and prostituting minors.
The accusations against Vaughn go back to the year 2002, this means that Vaughn allegedly became involved with sex trafficking when he was 17, according to reports. Vaughn got accused by the FBI for trafficking underage girls from California to other locations in the Central valley and across state lines to Nevada for sexual purposes.
After he was arrested and charged with the crimes neighbors and friends said that they were unaware of his criminal activities. “He was really sweet and sensitive,†Leilani Neal, a family friend, told reporters, when asked about Vaughn. “I guess he went girl crazy and it led him down this road.â€Â
“I heard about all of it and it grieved my heart. We walked with the Lord a while and he kind of got sidetracked. I heard about what he got into and that saddens my heart”, said Diana Neal, another family friend.
Some say that he went “girl crazy” and that it led him down this road and some have said that Vaughn’s got a lot of charm. “I guess it attracted the girls. Plus he had a cute smile and had his game and all that”, said Leilani Neal.
Aaron Vaughn was popular around his apartment complex and according to family members a lot of young ladies used to flock to him. “Those little girls used to chase Aaron,” says Katrina. “It was always the boys drinking, the boys doing drugs. It’s the girls now. It’s the girls having a lot of sex. Its girls on girls now. So what can you say,” Katrina explains.
