Player Verify LLC is a relatively new company based in the state of Tennessee. The company has now applied for an online poker service provider license in the state of Nevada, with the Gaming Control Board. The group provides a service via a software product which will help online poker operators to collect personal information of customers to the minute detail.
The service is needed to help satisfy the regulatory requirements that are listed in the state of Nevada. The software uses encryption technology to be able to keep the player data safe from access that is not authorized. The company also uses centralized database which will allow for players exclusion and for fraud reporting in real time.
Player Verify managing member at the Franklin, Tennessee branch, Mark Dalton, stated that gaming companies in Nevada will be able to select their player authentication services will be able to instantly authenticate their player’s identity with Player Verify Identity Checker tool.
The system will match information that has been submitted to a national database which is created with government and public information. A player will be verified as long as the information that they submit will match the information in the databases, making it easy to screen any potential problems.
The company is part of a long list of other companies that are trying to earn an online license in the state of Nevada. These companies include the MGM Resorts International and Caesars Entertainment Corp. Dalton went on to state that Player Verify is currently reaching out to potential clients in the city of Las Vegas but they have yet to sign any deals.
The first licenses for online wagering were issued by the Nevada Gaming Commission this June. The first to receive the licenses were International Game Technology and Bally Technologies. Other companies continue to try and earn a license in the state.
