Entrepreneurial poker player Rob Yong came up with the idea to open the only legal poker only venue in the United Kingdom. After two years, Yong was granted a full casino license to open and operate Dusk Till Dawn. This Card Room will be the largest in the UK and the biggest in Europe with 45 tables. As soon as Yong was granted this license by The Gaming Board of Britain, The Board was replaced by the Gaming Commission. This new Commission discontinued the issues of any new poker only licenses because of a minimum number of hard gaming tables at each venue stipulation.
As a casino operator, Yong has a sense of responsibility in not wanting to flaunt the laws and authorities by having an unregulated venue. He also believes that hard gaming around poker players is not the best situation for them, so when he applied for a full casino license, he did not want the provision for other forms of gaming.
