Lock Poker CEO Jenn Larson Speaks Out About Recent Troubles

Lock Poker Lock Poker has been the subject of many reports recently with financial issues at the forefront of reports. The Founder and CEO of Lock Poker, Jennifer Larson, recently sat down with Gambling911 for an exclusive interview to shed light on the issues facing Lock Poker. Since the site moved to the Revolution Gaming network, the site has had numerous issues and players are questioning the solvency of Lock Poker.

Gambling911 asked many tough questions that Larson seemed to be ready to answer. The founder was asked as to why the company does not release proof that they are financially capable as well as why a third-party verifier is not used for fund protection of players.

Larson responded that the Department of Justice has shown that they have the ability to seize player’s funds and keep them for long periods of time without any validity legally to do so. With this at hand, the company, according to Larson, does have the possibility of providing verification by a third-party company.

Larson stated that Lock has spoken with several companies that could provide auditing service but these companies would not state if they would release information on the poker accounts to the United States government if questioned. The companies have further stated that the fear of being blacklisted by the Department of Justice keeps them from taking on employment from Lock Poker.

The report also asked about the recent player to player transfer issues at Lock.  Players have posted on several poker forums showing emails they received from support at Lock which stated that “no funds from player transfers, or winnings derived from transfers can be cashed out”.

Larson stated that an investigation took place over the last few weeks which revealed that a group of people had abused the player to player transfer policy. The group created several accounts and moved and withdrew funds without playing, which is against policy. Now the site has a new policy for cashing out transferred funds. Players have to accumulate 15% or more in GGR on the P2P transfer before a withdrawal will be allowed.
