Action at the Final Table

The first finalist at the table got busted 15 minutes after the action began. Moron made an 80,000 min-raise under the gun with 20,000/40,000/5,000a level blinds, and Zhao Zi Long placed a 260,000 three-bet in the cutoff. Yet, LJoseph62 placed a 520,000 four-bet from the big blind.

Moron opted to fold as Long made a 1,208,080 shove, and LJoseph62 made a snap call. Long put his pocket queens against ace-king but lost and left the table in the ninth position.

Andrei “Mr-Doberman” Nikonorov followed Long in the eighth position. Rodrigo Sirichuk made a 100,000 min-raise from under the gun and called when Nikonorov made a 754,680 three-bet all-in.

Sirichuk revealed pocket kings that crushed Nikonorov’s pocket nines. Yet, the kings remained and the table was reduced to seven finalists.

Aleks “JustaMortal” Dimitrov got busted in seventh place after allowing his stack to reduce to slightly more than four big blinds. He used ace-deuce to move to the middle, and Moron used pocket tens to call from the small blind.

Samuel “vivaegipto” Bernabeu got the event’s first six-figure prize after shoving three big blinds and getting an ace-six while Moron used queen-four to call from the big blind. An ace appeared as the door card while the board ran to a Broadway straight with four cards. It sent Bernabeu packing in sixth place and earned Moron a pot.

Wiktor Malinowski left the table in fifth place after making an 803,312 shove when LJoseph62 used pocket nines to make a 160,000 min-raise. The former turned a pair of sevens and both of them flopped a boat. Unfortunately, the odds were against Malinowski and he left the table.

A huge hand began after Malinowski’s exit with Jack Salter’s 215,000 raise and LJoseph62 made a 550,000 three-bet. Salter placed a 3,117786 four-bet as LJoseph62 called.

The formerly held ace-jack that he needed to improve against the latter’s ace-king. Yet, he didn’t do so and left the event in fourth place as LJoseph62 got a slim stack lead.

Sirichuk lost to Moron and got busted after his pocket aces lost to his opponent’s cards. Moron used ace-queen to make a 420,000 raise from the small blind, and Sirichuk used pocket aces to flat-call and trap him. But, his plans failed when two queens appeared on the flop, and Moron got trips.

Moron had a 221,250 lead when Sirichuk called. The former placed a 331,875 wager when two hearts appeared on the board after a king of hearts turn.

Sirichuk recalled, and a jack of hearts filled the board. Moron wagered 1,680,000 as Sirichuk called his remaining 1,503,391 chips.

Moron had a 11,307,899:5,792,101 chip lead over LJoseph62 in the final hand. They struggled to shake off each other before LJoseph62 made a 368,000 raise at the 80,000/160,000/20,000a level using nine-seven of diamonds, and Moron used king-deuce of clubs to call him.

LJoseph62 used queen-deuce to move all-in against Moron’s jack-five in the final hand. Running cards favored Moron as he got a random wheel straight, sending LJoseph62 packing as a runner-up with $213,685.
