Darvin Moon speaks out against Epic Poker’s Jeffrey Pollack

According to poker news site PokerListings, poker pro Darvin Moon is not happy with Epic Poker’s Jeffrey Pollack. Moon has trashed Pollack over what happened to the Heartland Poker Tour. Moon signed as an ambassador of the HPT last year and he now is speaking out against the status of the tour and Pollack’s role in the matter.

Epic Poker has now filed bankruptcy and Moon is unsure as to what will happen with the HPT. Moon did not hold back when he spoke out against Pollack by stating: “The whole crew were like a big family and Jeffery (Pollack) had to go and f***ed it all up for them. He’s a douchbag but that’s a part of life.”

Federated Sports + Entertainment owned Epic Poker and Pinnacle Entertainment recently acquired the company and their two poker businesses, the Heartland Poker Tour and the Epic Poker League. The purchase price has yet to be revealed and the company will be taking over all assets and intellectual property of Federated.

Moon was able to overlook his anger for a moment and speak to PokerListings about his life since he almost won the WSOP Main Event back in 2009. Moon finished in second place during the event and earned $5.2 million in the process.

Moon told the poker news site: “I do a lot of the same things I used to do. Playing a little poker, enjoying life. I’m still working with my logging business.” Moon went on to state that if another Main Event final table in his future it will be this year. The poker player has just bought a ranch and has other things going on so he may take a break from the game after this year’s Main Event to focus on his ranch and enjoy the mountain surroundings.
