The 2018 Borgata Spring Poker Open $2,700 Championship NLH Re-entry event has come to an end with 519 players competing. The prize pool up for grabs surpassed the $1 million guarantee, with $297,500 in additional prize money on offer. In the end, Almedin Imsirovic and Farid Jattin would settle on a heads-up chop, with Imsirovic moving on to claim the title.
The final table of six would eventually whittle down to Imsirovic and Jattin, with both trading out the chip lead. After a while, an unscheduled break took place, while the two players tried to work out a deal. Imsirvoic had a chip lead so this helped the prize money to lean in his favor.
When they returned, Imsirovic and Jattin were all in with Imsirovic holding 8-5 off-suit and Jattin showing K-10 off-suit. Jattin flopped a pair of tens but with a five on the river, Imsirovic ended up with trips and the win.
