It’s finally here – the ninth installment of the Full Tilt Online Poker Series, affectionally known as FTOPS IX. The action kicks off tonight as thousands of online poker players around the world will gather at Full Tilt Poker to get in on one of the most lucrative series of poker events on the Internet, guaranteeing more than $15 million.
The 25-event FTOPS IX schedule will commence this evening – August 6th at 21:00 ET – with a $200+$16 NL Hold’em event that guarantees a minimum of $1,000,000 in the prize pool. Hosted by Full Tilt Pro Allen Cunningham, the event is sure to draw thousands upon thousands of entries.
Tomorrow – August 7th at 14:00 ET – Martin Kläser will host FTOPS IX Event #2, a $240+$16 PL Omaha Hi-Lo Knockout tournament with a $200,000 GP. Event with a relatively smaller prize pool, the bounty-style competition is sure to draw an enormous field.
Later that same evening, FTOPS IX Event #3 will get underway at 21:00 ET, $200+$16 NL Hold’em 4x Shootout with 6-Max tables. Hosted by Greg Mueller, this event features a minimum $250,000 GTD prize pool.
FTOPS events will continue at least twice a day at Full Tilt Poker leading up to the massive FTOPS Main Event on Sunday, August 17th at 18:00 ET, hosted by the impeccable Full Tilt Pro, Chris “Jesus†Ferguson. The FTOPS IX Main Event will feature a $500+$30 buy-in and a GTD prize pool of no less than $2,500,000.
