New Jersey Players Now Have Access to PartyPoker Mobile

New Jersey poker players have been awaiting the arrival of the PartyPoker mobile application for some time and now the iOS option has been released. According to a recent report by OnlinePokerReport, players located in the state can now participate in PartyPoker online gaming via their iPad, iPhone and iPod Touch. Bwin.party Entertainment Limited was behind the app which allows players to compete for real money while on the go!

After downloading the application, players will be able to choose:

Real Money

Fast Forward

Play Money

Preview

With the Real Money option, players will be able to compete at stakes of $25/$50. The Fast Forward option provides the same type of game play with lower stake maximums of $5/$10. With either option, players will find that play is smooth and the graphics are clear and concise.

The application is still in the initial stages so players still do not have the option to compete in sit & gos or tournament game play. Also the Play Money option is not live yet so if you click on the option you will see a message which says the option is ‘currently unavailable’ and will be added soon. One could assume that over the coming weeks additional features would be added. PartyPoker most likely released the app ahead of every aspect so that players would at least be able to play via a mobile device, even at a limited capacity.

Players were glad to hear that the poker company had launched an iOS app but the reviews in the App Store are somewhat lacking in enthusiasm. Players were not happy that the PartyPoker app did not have tournament game play and many questioned the reasoning behind the company releasing the app before this option was ready.

Other operators in the state of New Jersey have launched mobile apps for game play including WSOP.com and 888 Poker. Borgata Poker has yet to release an app. Borgata and Party Poker are on the same network, so Borgata should release a new app soon, similar to the PartyPoker option.
