Betting the Giants/Cowboys Moneyline on Sunday Week 1

NCAA Football

In the National Football League in Week 1 – the New York Giants will take on the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday. This should be quite the game, featuring two teams out of the NFC East. This game will be played at AT+T Stadium in Arlington Texas. The Dallas Cowboys were early favorites in this game, but now this game is a pick’em at 5Dimes.

The New York Giants are certainly going to be known for their quarterback to receiving duo. Eli Manning and Odell Beckham Jr look for another sensational season as the top of the Giants offense. New York added several key players to their defense, and are led by a new head coach in Ben McAdoo. The Giants added Eli Apple early in the draft, and Sterling Shepard is going to have a chance at receiver.

The Dallas Cowboys lost their starting quarterback Tony Romo in a preseason Week 3 loss to the Seattle Seahawks. Romo is out for the next 4-6 weeks, but is on the active roster. Dak Prescott, from Mississippi State is going to get the start at quarterback. Prescott has been solid in the exhibition play, but the real deal is going to be interesting on Sunday. Ezekial Elliott, the rookie running back out of Ohio State is going to get the first shot at the spot for the Cowboys. Dallas also sees tight end Jason Whitten back for another season, and Dez Bryant as their top receiver.

The final several games of the season last year, the New York Giants saw the games go over. That’s partly because of Eli Manning’s ability to throw the baseball, and also because of a poor defense. The GIants saw the last 4 games of the season go over, and 8 out of the last 9 games on turf go over. Also, New York has had the over hit in 6 out of their last 7 season opener.

For Dallas, The Cowboys lost their last three games of the season last year against the spread. Dallas lost 5 out of their last 6 against the NFC, against the spread as well last season. The last 7 times these two teams have met in Dallas, the OVER has hit ALL seven times.

The total for this game is placed at 46. We are betting the OVER in this game. Sure, no Tony Romo for the Dallas Cowboys, but look for Dak Prescott to find Jason Whitten and Dez Bryant, his two trusty targets early and often. The defense will be missing in action in this game, so bet on the OVER. The final prediction for this game is the New York Giants win the game. Bet on the New York Giants in a pick’em over the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday!
