Bodog Poker recently announced the details for the upcoming Bodog Poker Open IV which begins November 1st. this is the fourth installment of the popular online tournament series and it will continue until the 8th.
This go round the Bodog Poker Open is going to offer two parallel week long tournament series. The Contender Series will be the lower-stake buy-in tournaments and the Championship Series will be the higher-stakes series with $60,000 in added prize money as well as guaranteed media attention to the winner.
The beginning of the Bodog Poker Open IV Championship Series will begin at 4pm EST which is number one of the series of seven events. The last games will take place on the 8th with the Championship event featuring an added $25,000 in cash to the prize pool.
The Contender Series will award the winner of each event with a seat to the Bodog Poker Open IV Championship event. The remaining final eight players at each final table of the Contender Series will get a seat to the Contender Series Championship Event which will take place on the 8th at 5pm EST.
