Online poker rooms UB and Absolute Poker have now begun offering their players something special. The all new Power Hour has been launched as of December 1st and players can now earn double UB and Absolute Poker Points when playing ring games and tournaments.
Online player ‘ChicagoJoey’ recently broke the record for the most hands played during a twenty four hour period. This record was just broke on November 25th by Russian online player ‘innerpsy’. ‘innerpsy’ played a little over 40,000 hands while the newest record breaker ‘ChicagoJoey’ played over 50,000 hands in a twenty four hour period.
The Annie Duke Celebrity Poker Tournament for The Decision Education Foundation took place on November 19th at the Commerce Casino. The tournament was a huge success as poker pros competed in the tournament and raised $60,000 for the non-profit organization.
