Bodog Poker Player Traffic
Bodog has a relatively high player traffic rate. Real money ring game traffic in January of 2008 has averaged peak hour numbers of 2,400, while the real money tournament traffic averages about 9,000. $5/$10 No Limit Texas Hold'em games are constantly ongoing, with Fixed Limit games always available as high as $30/$60. In the lowest stakes of Texas Hold'em, skilled players will have no trouble finding full tables with a view flop percentage hovering near 50% to 60%. It is not uncommon to find games as high as $5/$10 offering high viewed flop percentages. Simply put, Bodog is a veritable pond of fish, just waiting for the right skilled player to drop a line.
Bodog Poker Software
The software that powers BodogPoker is both fast and stable, with frequent updates that result in very little downtime for players. A full list of features includes many customizable options to enhance each player's experience. The standard note taking, hand history and vital lobby stats are all provided, along with a few perks, like 4-colored decks and the ability to see a hand even after the player has folded.
Game play is considerably fast, which many players find accommodating. However, on the downside, this means players have less time to consider their next move with a more limited number of seconds to act. The software platform is available for download only, thus far only compatible with PC's.
Bodog's software is well suited for Multi-tabling, being highly customizable and offering good mini-view or full size viewing options for players. The only less desirable factor is that players may only participate in up to 3 simultaneous tables, below industry standard.
Mac Poker at Bodog
Bodog was working on a Macintosh version of the poker software back in 2006, but the development was put on hold, with a releases expected in December 2007. That time has come and gone, with nothing more revealed as to whether Bodog will or will not release a Mac poker version anytime soon.

Bodog Poker Bonus Codes & Promotions
Bodog Poker offers their new players a 10% bodog bonus on their first deposit, plus an additional 100% bonus that can be collected over the first 30 days of playing at the online poker room. In order to qualify for the 10% bonus, the initial deposit must be $20 or more ($50 minimum if depositing over the phone). There is no limit to the maximum amount of the 10% bonus, though there are limits on certain deposit methods. The 100% bonus is a side bonus that is awarded at the end of a player's first 30 days. Clearing Bodog Poker Bonuses
Players are not actually required to clear the automatic 10% welcome bonus, rather they must acquire enough poker points before requesting a withdrawal. The online poker room only requires players to accumulate 3 points for every bonus dollar. For example, a $200 deposit would receive a $20 bonus, requiring 60 points collected before requesting a withdrawal.
Players collect poker points for playing in raked ring games and paying tournament fees - this is common in the poker industry. What is not so common is the third way to collect points. Simply by playing real money poker at Bodog, players earn 1 point for every hour they play.

Players at Bodog Poker find an enormous tournament schedule, with plenty of freerolls and guaranteed to wet their virtual appetites.
