New York Giants at Dallas Cowboys Betting Pick

Welcome to the first NFL Sunday of the year folks. It’s been a long journey to get here, but we have finally made it. The New York Giants are not expected to make it to the postseason this year, but they do have another potential chapter being written. The end of the Eli era and the beginning of Daniel Jones time. As long as the team is competitive and contending, we will likely see Eli under center. Don’t expect to see Jones this week.

Dallas, on the other hand, has been locking players up left and right and look to be ready to go for their season opener. They opted to release Alfred Morris and go with rookie Tony Pollard instead, a move that will definitely surprise a lot of folks. But they have their best players prepared to go to war for each other as the 2019 season is finally upon us. They are not to be taken lightly, as they have a Super Bowl title in their sights.

The spread for this battle favors the Cowboys by 7.5 points, while the over/under is set at 45.5.

Giants Looking To Extend The Eli Era

After another lost season last year, the Giants decided that though only a year had passed, they were going to move on from their top player OBJ, and they sent him to the Browns. Of course, the “drama” he brought is nowhere near the level of Antonio Brown, but they believed him to be a distraction. With the receivers they will be putting on the field for the first game, they probably wish they could have him back. But they have moved on and are hoping that Eli could rediscover the magic for just one more year.

They have a very impressive defensive unit that hopes to put the Cowboys in their place. Their pass rush promises to be solid, while they have some serious playmakers in the secondary. Can they perform well against their division rivals?

Cowboys Out To Prove A Point

After they FINALLY came to an agreement with Ezekiel Elliott last week, they ensured that their offense will be at full strength for the first game of the year. He is ready to run hard, while they improved the receiving corps with the addition of Randall Cobb. Not to mention that Jason Witten also came out of retirement after serving as a broadcaster last year. Dak is going to have a number of big-time playmakers at his disposal, and he is ready to use them.

The defense also looks pretty stacked for Dallas, with second-year man Leighton Vander Esch looking to take an even bigger leap in year two. When Byron Jones gets paid what he deserves, the secondary will officially be locked up.

Cowboys Start Year With Big Win

A victory is coming for the Cowboys in this season opener. They will not be outdone by a team without a true No. 1 receiver in their lineup. Zeke is about to eat.
