Brandon Nimmo has carried the Mets offense in the series to this point. Nimmo has hit a home run in both of the first two games against the Cubs, and will look to stay hot on Saturday. The Mets will be without their best offensive weapon, Yoenis Cespedes, who is on the disabled list with an injured hip. If the Mets can find a way to scratch out three runs, DeGrom should be able to make that stand up.

The Cubs offense appears to be waking up, and this could spell trouble for the rest of the National League. Kris Bryant and Anthony Rizzo are the main cogs, but the Cubs have a deep lineup filled with top talent. The Cubs have been winning games with their offense of late, but face a tough test on Saturday evening against DeGrom.
The Mets are struggling to keep players healthy and on the field, and they have seen their record take a hit because of this. After an 11-1 start, the Mets are now under the .500 mark at 27-28.
