Missouri Coming In Blazing
Missouri is coming off a 38-0 drubbing of the Arkansas Razorbacks in their last game back on November 23rd. Hall grabbed 6 balls for 153 yards and 2 touchdowns. The defense also got in on the action with a fumble recovery touchdown in the end zone.
Oklahoma St is coming off a 31-24 loss to the TCU Horned Frogs their last time out on November 24th. Quarterback Taylor Cornelius has a tough time throwing the ball in this one, going 17 for 40 for 181 yards and no touchdowns with 1 interception. However, Cornelius found the end zone twice on the ground with 52 yards on 9 rushing attempts. Chuba Hubbard added 42 yards and a touchdown on 13 carries and also lost a fumble that was returned for a touchdown. Tylan Wallace was the leading receiver with 64 yards on 4 catches. Landon Wolf, Dillon Stoner, and Tyron Johnson combined for 111 receiving yards on 12 catches.
Oklahoma Will Rely on Offense
The Tigers have been solid on both sides of the ball this season but have relied more on the offense than the defense for the most part. The offense is putting up 37 points per game and 469 total yards per game. They average 272 passing yards and 197 rushing yards a game. The defense has been acceptable, allowing 24 points a game and 379 yards a game. They allow 256 yards through the air each game and 123 on the ground. The Cowboys have had to rely on their offense to keep them in almost all of their games this year with the defense not doing much to help out. The defense has not been reliable at all, allowing 32 points a game and 437 total yards a game. They allow 258 passing yards per game and 179 on the ground. The key player for the Cowboys on offense is also senior quarterback Taylor Cornelius. On the year, Cornelius has thrown for 3642 yards and 28 touchdowns but has thrown 11 interceptions.
Missouri vs. Oklahoma Prediction
Missouri comes in at -9. Missouri is a much more well rounded team. The difference in this one will be the defenses as both teams boast impressive offenses. The Tigers will be able to get stops while the Cowboys defense will struggle to stop Drew Lock and company. Missouri should be able to score all day on the Cowboys and win this one easily.
