For the first time ever, the World Series of Poker Circuit will be heading to Russia, with a festival running this May from the 13th to the 27th. Partypoker LIVE recently signed a partnership deal with Casino Sochi, with the two working together to run the WSOPC Russia series. The circuit stop will include seven ring events with the winner of each event winning a gold WSOPC ring.
The festival will kick off with the Main Event and a Colossus tournament on the 13th. The Main Event will offer a $2 million prize pool guarantee with a buy-in of $1,100. This tournament has eight Day 1s, with two that will take place online at partypoker. The Colossus event will have a much smaller buy-in at $275, offering a large guaranteed prize pool of $1 million.
On the 21st, players will be able to take part in the Monster Stack and Super High Roller tournament. The Monster Stack will have a buy-in of $550 with a $250,000 guarantee while the Super High Roller will offer a buy-in of $5,300 and the same guarantee of $250,000 in prize money.
On the 25th, a High Roller tournament will take place, with a $2,200 buy-in with a prize pool guarantee of $250,000. A Closer tournament is also scheduled for this day, with a small buy-in of $275 and a $250,000 guarantee. The last event on the schedule is a Pot Limit Omaha tournament, offering $50,000 in prize money with a buy-in of $550.
Partypoker is already providing satellites online for the WSOPC Russia Main Event. Feeder tournaments start at just $0.50, making it easy for players to compete. These feeders will link to the Semi Finals, which have a $22 direct buy-in. The Semi-Finals will provide seats to the Finals which have a direct buy-in of $215. The Finals will guarantee 15 to 30 sates to the Main Event.
