The PokerStars Caribbean Adventure will be back in action this January with players set to travel to the Bahamas to take part in nine days of tournament gaming. The Atlantis Resort of Paradise Island will play host to the poker series with the schedule boasting 31 events running from January 6th to the 14th. The Main Event is back with a $10,300 buy-in and PokerStars has decided to add a little to the prizes on offer, giving back even more to their players.
PokerStars will be offering players comfort as well as gifts during the PokerStars Caribbean Adventure. According to CardPlayer, the online poker room will be offering players a lounge with VR stations and bar service. Those who make it to the final table will be given gifts that can include iPads, digital cameras, GoPros and more. A party will be provided for players to enjoy, in celebration of the series. $100,000 in additional cash prizes will also be provided by the poker brand.
Any player that competes in an event of the PokerStars Caribbean Adventure will qualify for the $50,000 live freeroll, a tournament set to take place on January 14th. A random draw will provide the first place winner with $20,000, second place with $10,000 and the remaining four places will earn $5,000 in cash each.
Draw tickets will be provided to players who are seated in a tournament before the first level ends. Five tickets are provided for this as well as five tickets to players who finish on the bubble during any event. One ticket will be given to every player who finishes in the money. Cash game players can earn tickets as well for certain hands during game play.
