After ten hours of poker action, it was David Eldrige who was able to earn the first-place win during the partypoker MILLIONS North America $10,300 High Roller tournament. Eldridge would face Victor Ramdin in heads-up play to claim the title, earning $300,000 for his efforts.
As Day 2 of the event got underway, only 26 players remained in the competition. Leading the pack was Darren Elias, and with only 11 players to earn a cash prize, everyone wanted to stay in the competition, trying to overtake the chip lead. Several players would be knocked out before the prizes were to be handed out, including Martin Jacobson, Kristen Bicknell and Mike Watson. Elias would be knocked out too, narrowly missing out on earning a payout from the event.
Once final table play began, it would take some time, but Eldridge would eventually gain the chip lead. After Kevin Hobbs was eliminated in 3rd place by Ramdin, it would leave Eldridge and Ramdin to face off in heads-up play. Both were about even in chips, but it would not take long before Eldridge would claim the win.
On the final hand, both would be all-in preflop with Eldridge holding pocket tens and Ramdin showing A-3. The flop revealed 10 high, putting Eldridge in a good position for the win. With the turn and river no help to Ramdin, Eldridge would win the High Roller event with trip 10s.
