Slots, table games, and sportsbooks saw a huge increase in popularity, thus impacting the revenue positively in March in Pennsylvania. The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board (PGCB) released figures that come from all 12 casino operators. According to the report, slots and table games from the PA venues made a revenue of $277.8 million in April. In comparison to the same period last year, this is less than 1% increase. To compare, revenue made in March this year from slots and table games was $309.1 million, which was also their all-time high.

If we take into account only table games, the numbers aren’t actually all that bad, as there was a 3.7% year-on-year increase, with total revenue of $77.4 million. The leader here was Sands Bethlehem, which is usually the leader in Pennsylvania when it comes to generating revenue. This casino contributed a total of $22 million from table games. The next one is Parx, which had seen a decline in year-on-year comparison of 1.2%. Parx contributed to the revenue from table games with a total of $16.3 million.

This type of games brought a total of $200.4 million in revenue, which is a 2.8% drop compared to April 2018. This time, Parx was on the top of the leaderboard, but even that casino saw a decline of 1.9% in a year-on-year comparison, having contributed $35 million in April. Sands is in second place with $25 million and a decline of 4.1%.

Sports betting in Pennsylvania saw a decline as well. Its total revenue for April 2019 was $4.22 million, which means that sportsbooks made $1.3 million less than in March.
