Harrah’s Announces Return of Tournament of Champions

After being on hiatus for three years, Harrah’s Entertainment announced the Tournament of Champions will be returning to the World Series of Poker. The Tournament will be changed into an ‘All-Star’ format and will have a $1 million prize pool up for grabs. ESPN will be filming the event and then air it on August 3rd as a two hour event.

The WSOP Circuit travels around the United States and stops at Harrah’s owned casinos where local players as well as visitors can participate in the available tournaments.

It was announced today that the 2009 World Series of Poker Europe will be offering players four events to win a coveted bracelet. The WSOPE will begin on September 18th and continue through October 1st.
