NFL Week 10 Games with the Highest Percentage of Public Betting Action

FootballSportsBettingThere are several NFL games with lopsided public action on Sunday, according to Pregame.com’s Sportsbook Spy.  There are two games where the general public is heavy on one side of the point spread.  They are San Francisco -6 (79%) over Carolina and Denver -7 (77%) over San Diego.

There are three money lines where NFL bettors have placed a disproportionate number of tickets.  They are Philadelphia -115 (75%) over Green Bay, Indianapolis -420 (72%) over St. Louis and Oakland +275 (70%) over the New York Giants.

There are seven totals where bettors jumped on the over.  They are:

  • Dallas at New Orleans over 53 (93%)
  • Carolina at San Francisco over 42.5 (92%)
  • St. Louis at Indianapolis over 44 (91%)
  • Buffalo at Pittsburgh over 44 (82%)
  • Detroit at Chicago over 49.5 (81%)
  • Denver at San Diego over 57.5 (80%)
  • Philadelphia at Green Bay over 46.5 (79%)

These numbers are the percentage of tickets written on a particular side.  It does not reflect the amount of the wagers on any side.  Sharps will often make large wagers against the public that will keep a sports book’s action balanced.  The books may also accept lopsided action on one side in the hopes that the bettors are wrong.
