The Green Bay Packers will turn back to Brett Hundley as their starting quarterback. Aaron Rodgers is out for the remainder of the regular season. Huntley lost in the second half of the Vikings game, and then was downed by the Saints. The Packers did not play last week, in hopes to get Hundley as ready as possible for this game.

The Packers are struggling to score, with just 13.5 points in their last two games. The Packers had scored back to back 35 point games before that. Green Bay ranks 23rd in passing yards now, with just 208 per game, while they rush for 101.6 per game. The Packers are playing back to back divisional games, as they are at Chicago next week.

Detroit Looking to Get Back to .500

Before the Detroit Lions think about postseason, first, they need to get back to .500 on the season. The Lions have lost three straight by an average of 7 points per game. The Lions are 12th in passing yards, led by Matthew Stafford. The veteran quarterback has thrown for 1,851 yards and 12 touchdowns on the season. Stafford’s interceptions are up too high to start this season.

Golden Tate has been the top receiver for the Lions, but he has just two touchdown receptions on the season. The Lions are having a tough time moving the football on the ground. Detroit ranks 28th out of 32 teams in the league with 82.1 rushing yards per game. The Lions host the Cleveland Browns in Week 10.

Packers Sneak Out Win

The Green Bay Packers are banged up, but still have some talent on that roster. If Brett Hundley can take care of the football, and the Packers defense steps up like we have seen before, they are going to win this game. The Lions just seem to be a step or two off this season, and heading to the postseason does not seem like it’s going to happen. The home crowd in front of national television crowd will lead Green Bay to a win. Bet the Packers +2.5 over the Lions.
