Poker players in New Jersey will have the opportunity to take part in the upcoming New Jersey Poker Classic, beginning this Friday thanks to the WSOP. The tournament series will begin with Event #1, the $6,000 GTD NL Deep$tack event. The re-entry event is the first of 38 tournaments on the New Jersey poker schedule, with players having the ability to compete in tournaments offering a total of $500,000 in guaranteed prize money. The Classic will take place from November 10th until the 20th, with something new to enjoy online each and every day of the series.
The first day of the schedule will kick off with three events, with the highest buy-in being just $150. Players can begin to compete in The Classic with low buy-ins ranging from $10 to $75. These events are quite affordable while there are larger buy-in events on the schedule as well with the highest being $1,000, in Event #16, the High Roller tournament, featuring $50,000 in guaranteed prize money.
The schedule is full of events with several poker variants on offer including freezeout, turbo, 6-max and knock’em out options included. Players will find there is something for everyone within the series, with several tournaments taking place each day.
On the 19th, the WSOP NJ site will be offering the Main Event tournament with $100,000 in guaranteed prize money and a Champion’s Belt to go to the winner. The event has a buy-in of $500 and will begin at 5pm.
