UltimateBets Aruba Classic Day 2

The goal of day 2 at the Aruba Classic was 36 players or 2am. Well, 2am won but with the top 54 players being paid, they did burst the bubble as 54 players will start Day 3.
Day 2 was a long day of poker that wasn’t kind to a lot of players. Annette “Annette_15″ Obrestad, Evelyn Ng and Phil Hellmuth are gone. Also Team UB members Shawn Rice, Brian Gabrielle and Johan Storakers.
The feel good story of the tournament came courtesy of Pam Pfeifer. Pam was the last player to qualify via winning an Aruba Classic freeroll at UltimateBet. She was eliminated in day 2 just outside the money but her demeanor and the way she talked to all at the table earned her many friends as well as two great days of poker. When Matt Savage announced her elimination, the rest of the players in the room recognized her with a big round of applause.
The bubble was burst by last years 16th place finisher Brian Wessinger. He went all in with KK and was called by AQ. The flop came AQ5 and that was enough to send Brian to the rail just short of the money.
