Tiffany Michelle and Maria Ho on New Season of The Amazing Race

The popular CBS show, The Amazing Race, is set to air on September 27th with its fifteenth season and joining the cast of the reality show this go round is professional poker players Tiffany Michelle and Maria Ho. The duo will face off against eleven other teams to see who can make it to the end of the race.
Each team will be racing each other around the world in their quest for one million dollars. Maria Ho commented that The Amazing Race will definitely be different than competition at the poker table. She stated: “It’s outdoorsy. This is physical and mental, but we will definitely be applying whatever skills we have as gamers to this competition and push ourselves in different ways that we’re not used to doing.”

Both women are twenty six years of age and have been best friends for three years with a strong record of poker achievements.
It will be interesting to see how their backgrounds in the game of poker will benefit them in the race. One team the ladies will be competing against are members of the Harlem Globetrotters, Nathaniel “The Big Easy” Lofton and Herbert “Flight Time” Lang. both men believe their traveling experience will help them dominate the competition as they have traveled to many countries as part of the Globetrotters team. The Amazing Race will see the teams going to eight countries in just twenty one days.
Though the Globetrotter team members are confident, I think Maria and Tiffany stand a good chance at competing well as they are both well traveled and competitive. It will definitely be interesting to watch as the teams compete and race to see who will reach the finish line first.
