PokerStars has officially announced that their new poker option, Zoom Poker, is now LIVE! The new option has been in beta testing for the past few months and now ALL players can officially enjoy the fast paced cash game option.
The Zoom Poker option can be accessed on both the web version and the mobile version at PokerStars. With the beta testing phase, PokerStars was able to fix the minor bugs that occurred during the first phase of operation. During the beta testing phase, over three million hands were dealt and Zoom Poker proved to be a great asset to the site.
With Zoom Poker, players will be able to play cash games much faster. Players simply have a seat at the Zoom Poker tables and they will have the option to play the hand they are dealt or they can instantly fold out of turn. When a player folds out of turn, they will be moved to a new table which will consist of totally different players.
The Zoom Poker option will allow PokerStars players to be dealt many more hands than the normal ring game options. PokerStars has averaged that players will be able to play in an average of 200 or more hands per hour. Zoom Poker offers many great features including the ability to play up to four tables at one time in the single player pool and as many as eight tables in the multiple pools. Players can also choose to see how a hand plays out after they fold by holding the CTRL key.
The Zoom Poker option can be played at stakes from as little as $0.01/$0.02 all the way to more mid-stakes limits. This feature is great for any player, but especially those who have a limited amount of time to enjoy cash game play. Instead of having to wait for the next hand, crap hands can be folded out of turn and then players will instantly be given a new hand!
