According to Director of Poker Operations at PokerStars, Severin Rasset, the game of Omaha was high on the request list for variants to be added to Spin & Go and the new option will have an added incentive. Rasset stated in the press release: “Omaha is a highly enjoyable poker variant and was quite high up on our players’ request list to deliver it as a Spin & Go. The icing on the cake for players is that these Spin & Go’s will be an exclusive qualifier into our SCOOP Event 5.”
Team PokerStars Pro Lex Veldhuis weighed in on the new option as well stating that Omaha is perfect for Spin & Go. According to Veldhuis, the option will provide a lot of action as players have the ability to play many hands and it is hard to knock people out in PLO.
