New Jersey’s Division of Gaming Enforcement Releases List of Online Gambling Domains

As of 6 pm last night, the state of New Jersey was live with online gambling options as the testing phase begins its first stages. The state began their five day testing period and if all goes well, NJ will offer internet gambling for anyone physically located in the state by the 26^th. The Division of Gaming Enforcement of New Jersey has now released a list of websites that are currently testing in the state along with operator and platform information.

The gambling sites in the state are operated by seven different permit holders. The testing phase is set to continue intermittently until the 26^th and the DGE has the right to extend this soft play time frame. The testing phase will provide operators with the ability to determine if any issues exist. From the eight hour time frame for operation last night, there were a few glitches that involved sign ups and geo-location. Geo-location issues are nothing new as both Nevada and Delaware have both struggled with this problem.

The testing phase will continue tonight for eight hours and then sixteen hours on Saturday. On Sunday and Monday, the testing phase is scheduled to run for a twenty four hour time frame. All potential problems should be worked on during this time frame so the state can go live for everyone by the 26^th but for now, the only players allowed on the sites are those who have been invited to play by operators.
