Poker players located in the state of New Jersey now have access to a quality tournament series at 888poker. The online poker room launched the New Jersey Poker Classic Series today, with players having access to 38 tournament events, with guaranteed prize money totaling $500,000. The series will run from today until the 20th, with players having access to several tournaments each day.
One of the most anticipated tournaments on the schedule is the Main Event, which will have a $500 buy-in and feature $100,000 in guaranteed prize money. Players will be competing for cash of course, but also bragging rights as the winner of the event will earn a Championship Belt.
This Sunday, players will have access to quality events including the Sunday Biggy and a Six Max tournament. The Sunday Biggy will have a $320 buy-in with $65,000 in total prize money up for grabs. This will be Event #7 on the schedule. Event #8 will have a low buy-in of just $20, with $4,500 in guaranteed prize money.
The schedule of the series will mostly consist of No Limit Hold’em events, but Pot Limit Omaha will be featured during two tournaments, #10 and #21. New Jersey poker players can take part in satellites to earn seats to all events on the schedule, with freeroll qualifiers on offer each day of the NJPCS. Freerolls will run until the 19th, so players still have plenty of time to take part in an effort to earn a seat to one of the many NJPCS events.
