Optimal Payments has sent out a press release discussing that NETELLER has now returned to the US marketplace. The online wallet service will now be a cashier option at both WSOP.com and 888 Poker in the state of New Jersey.
The service from NETELLER can be used at both WSOP New Jersey, CaesarsCasino.com and 888 Poker New Jersey. A representataive of 888 announce the addition of NETELLER on a support forum but the option cannot be found on the online poker site as of yet.
NETELLER should also be added to other online poker and casino sites in Nevada and New Jersey in the near future. As the gaming industry expands, the e-wallet will have even more opportunities to offer their services.
NETELLER is no stranger to the United States marketplace as they were operating in the US until 2007 when the Department of Justice shut down the e-wallet. The financial service had to work with the DOJ and come to a settlement which took five months to complete after the shutdown. According to the details of the settlement and the compliance record, the company is able to gain a license to operate in both New Jersey and Nevada.
Pokerfuse recently spoke with the Caesars’ VP of Corporate Communications, Seth Palansky, who stated that Caesars believes NETELLER will be both an effective and popular choice for deposits and withdrawals with their customers. Palansky further commented that the e-wallet is the PayPal for gaming ‘so to speak’ and it should help gamblers who have had trouble depositing via credit cards.
