Just two days ago, New Jersey casino, the Tropicana, announced that they have chosen a party for their online gambling options. The twelve casinos in the state have had a certain time frame in which to state who they will be partnering with to provide online gambling for residents of the state. The Tropicana has announced they have partnered with Gamesys, which was rumored to be true last month, and now the partnership has been confirmed.
Gamesys is located in the United Kingdom and they provide quality gambling options for UK residents online such as the well-known gambling site Jackpotjoy. Gamesys Chief Executive Officer and company founder, Noel Hayden, commented on the new partnership with the Tropicana by stating:
“We have always sought ambitious partners and Tropicana Atlantic City is a great partner for Gamesys as Internet gaming comes to New Jersey. We look forward to working with the team at Tropicana to leverage the very best of the Gamesys platform and capabilities to serve existing customers and win new customers online.”
The partnership may only just now be confirmed but the two could have been working together for months now. Online gambling is rumored to go live by November in the state and casinos have been discussing their partnership options for some time now. The Division of Gaming Enforcement asked for casinos to turn in information about partnerships as well as fill out applications. The details from the casino applications, including the Tropicana was not public information though the officials of the Division of Gaming Enforcement would have already known.
Other casinos have also released information on who they will be partnering with for online gambling. Players in the state of New Jersey are certainly ready and anxiously await when they can play real money poker online legally.
