The online poker world has a new poker challenge issued by a player. Matt ‘ADZ124’ Marafioti has issued Daniel Negreanu an online poker challenge, claiming that if he made as much money as the poker pro he would a much better player.
Matt commented on his blog that he is more ‘marketable’ than the poker pro and that he lives ‘a better life off poker’ and he doesn’t get free two million from PokerStars each year like he does to keep from going broke.
Matt then issued the challenge. The challenge from Matt stated that he would pay Negreanu $500 an hour per table to sit opposite him. He also issued a $100k prop bet which involved who cashes out more over the next ten live events in which both participates.
Matt commented: “So in the future, unless you’re going to back it up, do not open your mouth in the 100/200 game on stars, because you’re awfully quiet when I see you in person. Just come speak with me face to face.”
Daniel Negreanu responded to Matt’s comments and challenge by commenting on his Poker Listings blog earlier this week. He stated: “If I wasted my time responding to all the completely insane nut jobs on the Internet, I wouldn’t have enough hours in the day. He falls directly into that category of social misfit.”
Matt Marafioti’s blog states that the challenge still stands and he also commented that he is now interested in a $100k cage fighting match. Negreanu is taking Matt’s comments in stride and commented that he doesn’t want to encourage Marafioti.
