Las Vegas Entertainer Danny Gans Dead

According to news reports, Las Vegas entertainer Danny Gans died early this morning. The family called emergency services through the 911 system reporting that Gans was having difficulty breathing. Gans was dead by the time paramedics arrived.
Gans was a Las Vegas icon, he won the award for Las Vegas entertainer of the year 11 years running. In addition to his career as a Las Vegas entertainer, Gans played minor league baseball for the KC Royals after being drafted out of high school.
Gans was reportedly preparing to shoot a music video with Hollywood director Brett Ratner of “What a Wonderful World,” the Louis Armstrong classic.
A spokeswoman for the Wynn, Jennifer Dunne confirmed Danny Gans death this morning. Dunne told reporters that Gans died early this morning at his home in Vegas.
Prayers go out to Mr. Gans wife, and three children.
