July 2015 U.S. Online Poker Offshore Payment Processing Report

real-moneyThere was little change in the U.S.-facing online poker payment processing business during the past month.  There was some minor improvement at the bottom of the list.  The sites that have shown the ability to process payments in a timely manner since Black Friday have continued that tradition.

Our June report may be found here.  Last month’s grades are in parenthesis.

Bovada A+ (A+)

Bovada continues to hold top honors in the cashout department. The fastest way to get cash out of Bovada is requesting a Bitcoin cashout. These arrive in within a few minutes up to a few hours. The limits and fees are as follows:

  • $10 – $9,500 Fee: $0

There are three other easy ways for Bovada players to receive winnings. Checks arrive in 2-7 days. The maximum withdrawal by check is $2,500. Bank wires are processed in amounts up to $5,000 in about one week. There is also a Visa Fast Funds method that pays money directly to a player’s debit card. It works essentially the same as an electronic check. These are processed in 3-6 days.

All three of these methods have a $50 fee. Bovada will issue one withdrawal through one of these methods at no charge each month.

Winning Poker Network B+ (B+)

The Winning Poker Network cashier processes payments for Americas Cardroom, Black Chip Poker, and True Poker. Checks are processed in amounts up to $2,995 and arrive in 1-2 weeks. The fee is $65. Players can receive one free check each month.

There is a debit card available on the Winning Poker Network that works like a standard ATM card. Players can request up to $2,500 per week. These are processed in 2-3 days. There are several fees involved in using the Winning Poker Network debit card. These include a $25 to have it issued, $4.95 to load it, $3 for every ATM transaction, and a $5.95 monthly maintenance fee.

Cash transfers are processed in 2-3 days. The fees and amounts are as follows:

  • $100 – $299 Fee: $60
  • $300 – $499 Fee: $70
  • $500 – $749 Fee: $85
  • $750 – $999 Fee: $95
  • $1,000 – $1,500 Fee: $110

BetOnline B+ (A-)

BetOnline checks are processed in one to two weeks in amounts up to $2,500. The fee is $50. BetOnline will sometimes process checks as money orders. Cash transfers are available in amounts up to $750. The fee is $35 or $70, depending on the size of the transfer.

Bitcoin is available as a withdrawal option at BetOnline. The limit is $3,500 and the withdrawal is processed in about one day. The fee is 2 percent of the transaction.

BetOnline will waive the fee up to $50 for a withdrawal requested on Friday. Any withdrawal fee over $50 receives that amount as a discount. This offer is available one time per month.

Intertops B+ (B+)

Intertops continues to quietly process payments quickly to U.S. players. It is a member of the Revolution Gaming Network but most of the big games are ringfenced between Intertops and its sister site Juicy Stakes.

Debit card is the cheapest way to get money out of Intertops. The fee is $9 and the maximum debit card withdrawal is $5,000. These are processed in 3-7 days.

Players can receive a check or bank wire for a $50 fee. The maximum amount for a check is $3,000, while bank wires have a $2,500 cap. These are paid in 1-2 weeks.

The fastest way to get money out of Intertops is by debit card. These are processed in 1-2 days. The fees and amounts are:

  • $150-$500: $70 fee
  • $501-$1,000: $85 fee
  • $1,001-$2,000: $180 fee

Juicy Stakes B- (B-)

Juicy Stakes is sister site to Intertops on Revolution Gaming. Like Intertops, there is no free withdrawal option. Checks are processed in about one week. The maximum withdrawal is $1,000. The fee is $50. Cash transfers are also processed in about one week. The fee is $85 for amounts up to $500. The fee is $110 for amounts between $500 and $890.

SWC Poker C- (C)

The issues at SWC Poker are not with its payment processing. Players receive payouts in about 12 hours through Bitcoin, the only available method. Our concerns are with a court case involving its founder Bryan Micon in Nevada.

Micon was chairman of Seals With Clubs, the predecessor of SWCPoker. His home was raided in February by Nevada gaming agents before he moved to Costa Rica. Micon returned to Nevada to plead guilty to charges related to Seals With Clubs.

SWCPoker has made no statement as to the status of its company as it pertains to its founder’s legal issues. We are also concerned about the complete lack of traffic at SWC Poker, although it does offer some very interesting and unusual games that mixed game players may want to check out.

We do not feel that SWC Poker is on the verge of collapse. We simply believe that there are better options out there, especially now that many other U.S.-facing online poker rooms now accept Bitcoin.

Full Flush Poker C- (C-)

Full Flush Poker is the flagship of the Equity Poker Network. It continues to struggle getting payments to players. Cash transfers take two weeks to process. The fees and amounts are:

  • $100-$200: $36 fee
  • $201-$500: $39 fee
  • $501-$750: $48 fee
  • $751 – $1000: $60 fee

Checks and bank wires take 2-3 months to process. Checks have a $2,500 cap and $50 fee. Wires have a $40 and max out at $4,000.

It isn’t just U.S. players that are waiting a long time to receive payouts from Full Flush Poker. Players outside the U.S. complain about two month waits.

Merge Gaming D+ (D+)

The situation at Carbon Poker and other Merge Gaming skins is slightly improved over last month but not good enough to get it out of the D territory. The backlog to U.S. players has worked its way into April. This makes the current wait about three months. This is also about how long players outside the U.S. are waiting. Some players in the U.S. have been allowed to speed up cashouts by changing the method from check to cash transfer, an option not available to most players.

Checks from Merge Gaming are processed in amounts up to $2,500. Players may receive one free check per year. Additional checks incur a 3% fee. These fees also apply to players outside the U.S. Some players also have cash transfer available as a withdrawal option.
