Improvements Announced by WSOP for 2016 Events

World Series of Poker

The 2016 World Series of Poker will be taking place in just a few short weeks, with players from around the world converging in Las Vegas to take part in many of the scheduled events. In preparation for the upcoming series, the WSOP organizers have announced a few changes that were put in place to improve the overall gaming experience.

The eQueue Payout Process is one such change that should help to expedite the payment process of those who cash out during WSOP events. This year, 15% of the field in every event will earn a payday so the WSOP had to come up with a way to speed up the payment process. The new system will allow players to get in line digitally. Simply use a telephone number or fill out documentation offered. Players will be contacted via text message when the cash is ready for pickup, helping players to avoid standing in long lines.

ChipIn is a new feature to this year’s WSOP that involves an application for social chip tracking. Chips counts can be shared with others by the player. Players can update chip counts on WSOP during real time game play or share the number with others. To do so, players will have to fill out their name, date of birth and Total Rewards number online.

To get players interested in the online poker gaming options offered within the state of Nevada, the WSOP is also offering a schedule of events online to compliment the live events of the WSOP. The WSOP site promises to offer over 500 events from the 25th of May to the 10th of July. Players who are visiting Las Vegas to take part in the events of the WSOP can log online and participate in the online events offered by the brand. As much as $2 million in guaranteed prize money will be up for grabs plus seats to the live events of the World Series of Poker.
