Online gambling giant, Bodog, is celebrating the holiday season with a twelve day promotional event titled 12 Days of Poker. Offering the chance to win such prizes as TVs, computers, cameras and $100k guaranteed tournament seats, the promotion will run from December 16 through December 27.
Prizes will be awarded via two daily drawings during the 12 Days of Poker event. As patrons play online poker games at Bodog, they automatically earn Bodog Poker Points. Players’ names are entered once into the day’s low level prize drawing for the first 25 poker points earned. Every subsequent 75 points a player accumulates for that day warrants an additional, automatic entry into the high level prize drawing.
Bodog’s poker points are earned three different ways. One way is by playing rings games when the player has contributed to a raked pot. Additionally, players can earn 3 points for every $1 they pay to tournament entry fees, so a tournament with an entry of $50 (buy-in) + $5 (fee) will earn 15 poker points. Players can also collect 1 poker point for every hour they spend playing at one of Bodog’s online poker tables, with a maximum of 500 “playing time” points permitted in the course of a month. Time spent sitting out of a game is not counted as “playing time”. New players at Bodog are granted 50 points in their player account once they complete the registration process.
Today’s 12 Days of Poker drawing prizes are a Sony Playstation 3 for the low drawing winner and 5 seats to the $100k tournament for the high drawing winner. Low and high drawings for Friday will award 4 seats to the $100k tournament and a Sony Home Theater System, respectively.
