In Prior Lake Minnesota, a local man attempted to ‘launder’ stolen and dyed bank robbery gains by feeding the dyed money into Mystic Lake Casino, located in Prior Lake, Minnesota, slot machines. A casino employee saw Jacob E. Edwards, a 26 year old man from Hudson Wisconsin feeding the red dyed cash into the ‘colorblind’ slot machine according to the St. Paul Pioneer Press.
According to news reports Edwards allegedly robbed a TCF Bank located in a suburb of Minneapolis on November 30th, stealing $2,800.00. He walked into the branch, located inside of a grocery store with a threatening letter. He received about $2800.00 in cash, all marked with the permanent ink of a bank robbery dye pack.
William Hadacker is handling the Indian tribes legal interests in the case and reported to the press that somewhere around $500 was fed into the slot machine, as slot machines cannot tell the difference between green and red.
