888poker and the World Poker Tour have created a new partnership that will see poker players benefit. The online poker room will now be offering online qualifiers to select World Poker Tour DeepStacks events, which means players from around the world can qualify online to compete in the live global tour events.
The WPTDeepStacks brand is one where poker events take place around with world with Main Events featuring mid-stakes buy-ins so players can get more for their money. The first WPTDeepStacks event to be highlighted with the new partnership is the Berlin stop. In January, players will be able to visit the Casino Speilbank Berlin and take part in a three day tournament to begin the Season XVI European Championship Festival.
The Berlin stop will take place from the 5th to the 8th of January with a total of €500,000 in prize money up for grabs. Players who want a shot at taking part in the event can already find qualifiers at 888poker. Members of 888poker can win a spot in the Main Event by visiting the Live Events tab via platform. Qualifiers start as low as $0.01, making it very affordable for any player to try their luck at earning a seat at the live event.
Currently, players will find two options to earning a spot at the Berlin Main Event. The first option is for players to compete in a satellite, which is the $1,750 ‘seat-only’ qualifier. The winners of this satellite will earn a seat to the Main Event without the added benefit of travel or hotel stay being provided.
The second option is the $2,400 WPT DeepStacks Berlin Package that offers the seat to the Main Event as well as money for accommodations and travel. The seat-only satellite has a buy-in cost of $109 and will run each Monday from now until December 24th. The $160 package option runs each Thursday night and is open until the 24th of December as well.
Players can choose to buy-in directly to these events or compete in lower qualifiers to work their way up.
