The online poker brand has just announced the XL Championships 2017, which will feature three separate XL Championship Series this year, with the XL Inferno series set to kick off the Championships this May.
From May 7th to May 21st, poker players will be able to log on to 888poker and take part in the XL Inferno Championships with $7,500,000 in total prize money up for grabs. By visiting 888 and making a deposit of just $10, players can earn 3 XL Qualifier Tournament tickets absolutely free. Every day, 888poker will offer the XL Inferno Main Event qualifier where the top three players will be able to earn a seat to the Main Event, which has a buy-in of $1,050. The XL Inferno Mini Opening Event qualifier will also take place each day offering the top 30 players a seat to the Mini Opening Event which has a buy-in of $12.
The series will include several events each day of the XL Inferno Championships with High Roller events set for the 9th of May. Players can pay the $2,100 buy-in to compete in the High Roller event offering $500,000 in prize money or pay $215 to compete in the Mini High Roller where $150,000 is up for grabs.
On Sunday May 21st, the tournament series will feature the Main Event as well as the Turbo Main Event. The XL Inferno will feature a Main Event, Mini Main Event and Micro Main Event. The Main Event will have a buy-in of $1,050 with $1.5 million in prize money. The Mini Main Event will have a buy-in of $160 and feature $250,000 in prize money. The Micro version will have a buy-in of just $30 and feature $50,000 in prize money.
Players can also take part in Turbo Main Events on Sunday, the final day of the series. The Turbo Main Event will have a buy-in of $109 and offer $30,000 while the Super Turbo Main Event will have a $75 buy-in and offering $15,000 in prize money.
