PokerStars Drops “CashRefund” Withdrawal Method
August 20, 2008
The PokerStars Payment Services department notified members of the online poker room via email yesterday that PokerStars will no longer be processing withdrawals via the “CashRefund” payment method.
According to the email, PokerStars members who previously used the “CashRefund” option will need to choose another payment method from the list provided. Cash out methods at PokerStars include NETeller, Moneybookers, ClickandBuy, Direct Bank Transfer, USD Checks and CFT-eligible Visa, Solo and Maestro cards. CFT (Credit Fund Transfer) eligible cards are generally those issued in Europe and Canada.
The email from PokerStars Payment Services reads as follows:
We regret to inform you that the “CashRefund” option is no longer available at PokerStars. Please select alternate payment methods to withdraw funds from your account such as paper checks.
