Leeann Tweeden, Poker After Dark Television Host
Leeann Tweeden is likely the hottest thing on the popular television show Poker After Dark! Tweeden came to Poker After Dark after having made a name for herself on “The Best Damn Sports Show Period”.
Previously Leeann worked in Online Poker News doing video news reports from last years World Series of Poker, and for the Mansion Poker Dome Challenge.

Tweeden, who first made a name for herself on FSN’s “The Best Damn Sports Show Period” and has done several Maxim, FHM and STUFF photo spreads, most recently replaced the once Peacock-blocked Shana Hiatt as the sideline reporter at this year’s NBC National Heads-Up Poker Championship.
Poker After Dark, which airs on NBC so late it’s early Monday thru Saturday, will be the third poker show Tweeden has hosted, with her first being the Poker Dome Challenge.
So she’s hot, we get that. Hell I envy her! But what’s a hot girl with no brains? … Not Leeann Tweeden! Leeann has won a Sports Emmy and a Telly Award thus far in her illustrious career.
A Washington D.C. native from the suburbs of Mananas Virginia, sister and daughter to a couple of race car drivers. In fact, Leeann was brought up right smack in the middle of the racing world, her uncle was track announcer!
Leeann took the fast track through high school, graduating early after having attended just three years. At the age of 16, fresh out of school Leann opted to hold off on college. Instead she hit the road to Hollywood where she would pursue her dreams of becoming a model and breaking into show business.
By the age of 18 Leeann landed a spot on Ed McMahon’s Star Search show, she was to be a spokes model. That was as they say though, only the beginning, Leeann beat out 30,000 women nailing a spot on the ESPN workout show Fitness Beach. That’s something a poker tournament player can relate to, beating out thirty thousand people is a helluva feat.
Since then, we’ve seen Leeann on the cover of a slew of magazines, seen her smiling face on a plethora of articles and in numerous photo spreads.
Leeann has also appeared in television shows such as Jimmy Kimmel Live and Crag Kilborn.
Janurary 2002 brought Leann to FSN’s popular Sports television show “The Be
st Damn Sports Show Period”. Leeann had originally appeared on the show as a guest, but it seems she was a keeper. Bam, just like that, Leeann Tweeden became a strong name in mainstream sports.
Three years later, Leeann began hosting NASCAR Nation on the SPEED network. No surprise given her familial background with race cars and race car drivers.
According to recent online poker news press releases Leeann is currently working on her degree in Political Science at Santa Monica College after which she inteds to transfer to either University of Southern California (USC) or UCLA. Leeann currently lives Los Angeles California half time,m and the otehr half of her time is spent with her JetBlue airlines pilot fiance, a member of the Air National Guard.
