It has been known for some time that Caesars in New Jersey will be working with the 888 brand to create online gaming options but now it has been announced that 888 will be offering a gambling site with their brand in the state. 888 announced today that they will have one of four licenses that Caesars has procured.
In the state of New Jersey, the Caesars brand has four casinos. The group has now extended their deal with 888 to include allowing the brand to offer their own branded site in the state for players to enjoy. 888 has worked with Caesars for years and included in their partnership is the operation of the WSOP UK site.
Brian Mattingley is the CEO of 888 and has commented that working in the US is incredibly exciting and they consider the company to be well positioned in the United States. The group is integrating well in the US thanks to working with regulators in New Jersey, Nevada and Delaware.
The 888 brand is sitting pretty with the branding deal in New Jersey as well as the upcoming launch of an All American Poker Network room in the state of Nevada. The group is also working with the state of Delaware as they one third of a partnership with Scientific Games and WMS to provide online gambling options in the state.
888 will have a strong foothold in the US which should help them as more states open up to online poker, casino and all-around gambling options. It seems the group has been able to do what PokerStars and other top online gambling brands have been trying in the US. 888 has succeeded and it will be interesting to see how well they fare in the US as online poker and casino gaming becomes more readily available.
