Wynn Casino Sues Charles Barkley for 400k in Gambling Debt.

He told us from the beginning, Charles Barkley is no role model. The Hall of Fame basketball player, Charles Barkley, 45, is named in a case filed by the Wynn Las Vegas in the District court of Clark County Nevada.
In the claim made by the Nevada casino the Wynn claims that Barkley was issued $400,000.00 in casino credit last year. That was in October, seven months later, Barkley has failed to repay the markers.
"I'm not broke, and I'm going to take care of it."
Barkley told the press the failure to repay was merely an oversite, he said he "screwed up" and 'isn't broke' Barkey says he is planning to take care of the gambling debt.
Bloomberg, a prosecutor in Nevada however said that this might not be the last of Barkley's troubles, criminal charges my be filed.
Reports have been made involving much bigger gambling losses by the former NBA star turned commentator in the past however, in fact, he's said himself that he lost millions in less time, if you can afford to lose millions, and not blink in one session, then perhaps it is possible to lose 400k, and just forget...
Barkley claims his substantial debt is a result of a Super Bowl bet. And, really, US$400,000 is peanuts when compared to the US$10-million the former-player-turned-commentator estimated he had gambled away during an interview two years ago. Last year, he claimed he once lost US$2.5-million in one six-hour period. - National Post
“Do I have a gambling problem? Yeah,” Barkley said. “But I don’t consider it a problem because I can afford to gamble.”
