The Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino of Hollywood, Florida is no stranger to the poker game. The property hosts top events each and every year that pros and amateurs look forward to. Surprisingly, the casino has yet to host a World Series of Poker Circuit event. That is, until this year. The Hard Rock Casino will play host to a WSOPC tournament series this September, with two weeks of game play and 14 official WSOP Circuit ring events on the schedule.
The WSOPC stop will kick off on September 21st and continue until the 2nd of October. Signature events on the schedule include the Main Event which will have a buy-in of $1,675 and offer $1 million in guaranteed prize money. This event will take place starting on September 29th and run until the 2nd. The schedule also includes a High Roller NLH event with re-entry, which has a buy-in of $3,250 and offers $250,000 in guaranteed prize money. This event will run only two days, starting on the 1st of October.
As with each World Series of Poker Circuit stop, two players taking part in the series will have the opportunity to earn a free $10,000 entry to the Global Casino Championship. This special event is the season-ending tournament of the WSOPC. One entry will be given to the winner of the Main Event while the other will go to the player who is considered the Casino Champion, the individual who is able to earn the most points based on the WSOP points model during tournament participation.
