The Mid-States Poker Tour was a great success when it visited the FireKeepers Casino Hotel in Battle Creek, Michigan this past May and now the tour is ready to visit the venue once again. Later on this month, the tour will return to the casino once more to offer a quality poker event for players to enjoy.
From October 7th to the 15th, the FireKeepers Casino Hotel will play host to the 2017 Michigan State Poker Championship. The main event will take place in no-limit hold’em format and will have a buy-in of $1,100. The guaranteed prize pool for this event is $300,000. The Main Event will have three starting flights, with one taking place each day from the 12th to the 14th.
When the MSPT begins, there will be super satellites and qualifiers on offer until the 11th where players can qualify to compete in the Main Event for less than the $1,100 buy-in. On offer before the Main Event begins will be $65 Super Satellites and $260 Main Event qualifiers. The Super Satellites offer players 10,000 in starting chips with 20-minute blind levels. The Main Event qualifiers will have 30-minute blind levels and 12,000 in starting chip stack.
The casino will also be offering Turbo Qualifiers with $250 buy-in that will have 15 minute blind levels. These qualifiers will only run on October 12th and 13th at 8pm. Players who make it past the starting flights will come back to the felt on October 15th to battle it out to see who will be the tournament champion. The final table of this event will be live-streamed for fans to get in on the action.
The action kicks off at the FireKeepers Casino in just a few days, so players still have time to compete in satellites and qualifiers as well as buy-in directly to the Main Event.
